State Senator Frank LaRose was among the featured speakers during the AMATS Annual Meeting on Oct. 16. Speaking before nearly 150 meeting attendees at the Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls, Sen. LaRose discussed state Issue 1, a bipartisan proposal facing voters in November that would change how Ohio draws its state legislative districts. LaRose also fielded audience questions about current and potential transportation funding policies, the state’s Local Government Fund and related infrastructure issues.
