Northeast Ohio receives $4.25 million HUD Sustainable Communities Grant
Twenty-one entities, including Cleveland, Akron, Canton and Youngstown, received a $4.25 million grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to develop a regional plan for sustainability. The 21 entities are from 12 counties, stretching from the Mahoning Valley to Lorain. This grant application was a joint effort of AMATS, NOACA, SCATS, and Eastgate, along with several other local governments and philanthropic organizations.
