We’re Going Public!
AMATS is taking the update of its Draft Public Participation Plan – “3P” – to the people. We’re making the Draft 3P available for public review and comment starting Friday, Oct. 12 through Monday, Nov. 26.
AMATS is responsible for the ongoing transportation planning process within the Greater Akron area necessary to receive federal funds for highway, transit, bike and pedestrian projects. The 3P guides our agency in how we engage the public throughout this process. We want to know what you think about how we’re doing and what we can do better.
To view the Draft 3P, please click here or visit our Facebook and Twitter pages. If you would like to access the 3P Comment Form, please click here. A pdf version of this form is also available for downloading by clicking here if you prefer to submit your thoughts in writing.
You are also invited to attend the AMATS Citizens Involvement Committee (CIC)* meeting scheduled for Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Akron-Summit County Public Library – Main Library located at 60 South High Street in Akron. The CIC will discuss the update of the 3P and your insights are welcome.
