New Leadership for AMATS in 2010

New Franklin Mayor Al Bollas was elected 2010 chairman of the Policy Committee of the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (AMATS). The Policy Committee is composed of 44 officials representing local municipalities, counties, transit agencies, and the Ohio Department of Transportation. It is responsible for deciding how federal transportation funds are spent in the Greater Akron area. METRO Executive Director Bob Pfaff was elected to serve as vicechairman.
New Regional Transportation Plan Available

The Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (AMATS) announces that Transportation Outlook, the new 20-year regional transportation plan for the Greater Akron area, is available.
