Letters of Intent Being Accepted for Elderly and Disabled

AMATS is accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) from social service agencies and public transit agencies to provide transportation services or improvements in the AMATS area.  Over $1 million in federal funds from the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program (FTA Section 5310) is available.

The letters of intent are due July 10, 2020 (two pages maximum).  Blank application forms will be sent to project sponsors following review of the letter of intent.  Eligible project sponsors will be asked to complete an application by August 7, 2020.  The AMATS Policy Committee is expected to make final project selections at their September 24, 2020 meeting.
