We want to remind everyone that, just because the AMATS office is closed due to COVID-19, our ears are still open. We will be accepting written and email comments about agenda items for our upcoming May committee meetings between Thursday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 13.

Meeting materials will be posted on our agency web site as usual in the coming days. As has been our agency’s policy, we will continue to accept written and email comments about committee items once they are available for public review. To submit comments regarding agenda items, please email AMATS Public Information Coordinator Kerry Prater at kprater@akronohio.gov.

We are currently making arrangements to present our meetings virtually using Facebook Live. To view our committee meetings, please visit our agency’s Facebook page – AMATSPlanning. Our committees are scheduled to meet at the following dates and times.

Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) – Wednesday, May 6 @ 1:30 p.m.

Citizens Involvement Committee (CIC) – Thursday, May 7 @ 6:30 p.m.

Policy Committee – Thursday, May 14 @ 1:30 p.m.

Please note that viewers of our May 14 virtual meeting of the Policy Committee, while able to access the meeting, will not be able to participate during the committee’s regularly scheduled Audience Participation time due to technological constraints. However, written and email comments received by our agency before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13 will be read into the committee’s permanent record.
