What's New

The AMATS 2011 Annual Report is now available.  The report presents the agency’s accomplishments during the year and offers a few glimpses as to where transportation planning in the Greater Akron area is headed in the years to come.

The report’s pages document the successes of our agency’s Cycling Initiatives, our Connecting Communities Planning Grant Program, and the completion of the area’s $625 million Transportation Improvement Program.

There’s also info about integral planning products such as our Traffic Crashes 2008-2010 analysis and Existing Congestion Study, which were completed during the year.  There’s even a progress report about the Northeast Ohio Sustainable Coummunities Consortium (NEOSCC), of which AMATS is a founding member.
