The Ohio State University is conducting an online survey on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to gauge drivers’ opinions of dynamic message signs (DMS) along the state’s roads and highways.  Survey responses will provide OSU and ODOT researchers with valuable information about how Ohioans use DMS.

The roughly 15-minute survey queries participants on such topics as to how they obtain direction and navigation information and their phone usage while driving.  Survey data will aid the department in its use of these signs together with other smart technologies to promote highway safety and improve traffic flow on Ohio’s transportation network.
