Kline

Tallmadge Mayor David G. Kline will be the 2014 chairman of the AMATS Policy Committee.  The Policy Committee is composed of 46 officials representing local municipalities, counties, transit agencies, and the Ohio Department of Transportation.  It is responsible for deciding how federal transportation funds are spent in the Greater Akron area.  City of Kent Public Service Director Gene Roberts will serve as vice-chairman.

Kline and Roberts’ one-year terms will commence this month.  They were elected during the committee’s December meeting.
