Over the course of 38 years, Bob Pfaff went from being behind the wheel of a METRO bus to being the executive director of Summit County’s transit authority. The authority’s board of trustees decided that it was time to honor the retiring director by renaming METRO’s Akron transit center in a mid-May ceremony.
