CMAQ program funds will be distributed through a statewide competitive application process. Eligible applicants, located in Summit and Portage counties only, should submit an electronic copy of their application(s) to Dave Pulay by 4 p.m. on July 30, 2021.

Once project applications are received, they will be processed by the Staff and scored and ranked by the TAC TIP Subcommittee. The Subcommittee will then develop a list of projects to be recommended for funding. The draft list of projects will be presented to the AMATS Policy Committee for approval at their September meeting. The approved list of projects from the AMATS area will then be submitted to the statewide CMAQ Committee for evaluation against all projects submitted throughout the state. Final funding approvals will be announced by the end of the calendar year.

Dave Pulay will be coordinating all project applications and will be glad to assist you throughout the application process. If you have specific questions regarding the applications or the process in general, please feel free to email Dave at dpulay@akronohio.gov or call at 330-375-2436.
